Wow what fun I had last night. Yes, I am officially 21 and ...old...

My suitemates took me out to dinner for my birthday and it was absolutely great! We drove down to downtown SD.. We walked into Hard Rock Cafe starving.. Our waitress came to take the orders and YAY..for the first time I got to bust out my ID and purchase an alcoholic beverage. Kinda sad that everyone else ordered water..haha. Anyhoo, we got our grubs on ..and yea.. just like many other restaurants Hard Rock Cafe ANNOUNCED your birthday in front of everyone in there..and our waitress made me go on this lil stage thingymujiger and take a shot (it was more like a milk glass..HAHA) while everyone's watching. At least it tasted yummy though. What I really liked about the dinner was that we all got to sit around the table.. talked and ate. AND.. 2 different guys bought me drinks..that was special. One from the bartender and one from this guy who looked like he was 30 yrs old or so.. but let me tell you, he was CUTE!! (that was definitely a PLUS) Too bad the drink wasn't THAT good, but it was VERY nice of them to buy me drinks. :) After the free drinks and ice cream, we headed down to Ghiraldelli!~ MmmM~ Had some more ice cream.. Ice cream was GONE in seconds seriously. We wanted to walk around and explore the downtown more, but 'cause of the expiration of the parking ticket we had to head back.

Before we went back to our -_- dorms, we made a stop at Sav-on and my suitees watched me buy alcohol.. It felt WEIRD..not normal, but at the same time it felt like I've been doing this for so long that it wasn't even anything.. HOw weird, it WAS my first time buying alcohol and the cashier wished me a happy birthday ;)

So we come back to our crib..HAHa..U2 and just hung out. Just when I thought the party was over, my suitemates just made my better even BETTER! They brought a chocolate cake and lil candles in the lounge.. We sat around drinking wine coolers (no hard liquor..!) eating slices of the cake.. It was just awesome hanging out w/ my suitemates 'cause we never really got to do that as a suite.. but hopefully there will be more in the future.

We wrapped up the night watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days"..one of my favorite movies.

I just want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and my suitemates who made me feel very special :) and showed how much they care..and I also cannot forget the cute guys who bought me drinks. Thank you everyone! :)

Holy moly...I haven't updated in ages... Well, winter break was awesome and not at the same time, but school's already started and I'm back and trying hard to get myself in school mode.

Finals: wow, it was very intense and stressful. I even had a dream that I got a zero on my literature final.. thank God I passed that class. It turned out a O-kay..not too great, but as long as I keep trying.

=Winter Break=

-Berkeley, SF: I went up to Berkeley with Christine and her cousin to visit Lisa. I slept through the whole ride up there 'cause I stayed up the night before watching and crying over a Korean drama..haha. The first night, we went to a korean cafe-kinda place and grubbed on marinated chicken (my fav!) and some beers. The next day, we went down to downtown SF and Fisherman's Wharf (pier 39)...the usual spots to check out if you're ever in SF. Bubba Gump was great...the pier was very pretty..all decorated for Christmas and stuff. Union Square... some of us (Thankfully not me..) got in the shopping mode and bought some stuff..and we took forever taking pictures in front of the giant tree there and the Macy's crazy neonsign...we ended our night w/ some (a LOT of) Korean food and beers (again..but not too much). Our last day there, we actually went to take a look at the CAL campus. It was nice.. While SD is very modern and new in general, you could feel the tradition and age from various architerture pieces in Berkeley campus. Especially the library and the clock tower (even though you have to pay to get to the top of it..hah) impressed me ;). Oh, and I HAVE TO mention that the new DC in UC BErkeley is CRAZY! All their DC's are buffet style, and it's seriously..SOOO much food, more food than you can ever imagine from a school cafeteria. Plus, it didn't taste as bad as I thought it would be. But thank God I don't go to Cal, I woulda gained like freshman 50 instead of 15. Ride back home wasn't bad either..I mean I didn't drive..so nothing tiring for me..hehe

-Downtown Disney
-Whitter.. Lisa's Berkeley friend's house party
-Hanging out at Ellen's house
-Cleaning up the drunk mess at Ray's house
-numerous trips to malls (Brea/Cerritos/South Coast)
-Secret Santa!! I had Rose and she had me :) And she got me a pair of pants and a pair of sweatpants

-Las Vegas: went to LV for New Year's eve with some friends. Squish-squash to the max! Phew..thank God I'm still alive. All these people walking around all funny w/ their bottle of whatever alcoholic beverage that they like. We look at ALL the hotels there...which sums up to almost 8 hours of walking only. Calvin was whining so much how his feet hurt and his brother got pissed off hahaha. Anyhoo, we came back home on New Year's and I spent the rest of the day trying not to fall asleep and watching videos.

-My EARLY surprise 21st birthday party: thank you Ellen, Rose, Nick, Lisa, Sandra, Esther, Jennifer, James, Sang, Zenas, Brian, and James. It REALLY was a surprise and definitely a memorable night even though I don't remember anything, HAHA! No more no more! (for a while at least). I wish I could get to all the fun details of the night..but I'll save'em for later...or not.

-I met up with Lauren, Jennifer, Jenny, and So-jin. Haven't seen all of them in a while so it was nice. Happy 20th bday, Lauren!

=Winter Quarter has started!=

Wow, the first week was crazy hectic and tiring. I even had trouble falling asleep for the couple days, my roomster Sarah had to make me a warm glass of milk. hAHA, thanks roomie. Going back and forth from classes to the book store and Cal Copy (Phoebe and I copied our books like cRAzy there..haha, people think we work there 'cause we're there for hours). Lisa, Christine, and their cousin visited SD (well, Christine GOES to SD too, but she lives off campus) on Monday and I treated them out to -_- sierra summit, HAHA. I didn't really get to hang out w/ them 'cause I had a class before I met them up and they wanted to go back to Cerritos before the traffic hit. Tuesday Zenas, Jordan, and bunch of their friends came down. After stalling like crazy we all went to Convoy and had Pho. I used to hate Pho, but I learned to like it.. One bad thing is you smell like it SOOOO much after you eat. Cold stone after that..didn't really help with my weight-loss..haha. Rest of the week, I stayed stressed out and frustrated 'cause I don't have my computer working right now. Calvin, Zenas and all his friends tried fixing it, but didn't get to. I ended up dropping it off at Resnet's office yesterday..hopefully they'll call me back soon saying that they fixed it :).

After I dropped off my computer at Resnet, Calvin and I headed down to Nam-joo's house. We hung out and ate dinner..and bummed around like usual in her lounge. They got a new TV so we watched the Cribs marathon and my exchange student friends were quite discusted by the clips of Jack Ass..HAHA.. I came home around 10:30 which is totally early to be home on a Friday night..especially when you're almost 21, but who cares about that? I just planned what I'm gonna do on Saturday..and went to sleep by 1am.

Now I'm up and energized from my bowl of Cereal and a banana..and plan to go jogging out. Hopefully I'll get alotta work then after that 'cause I already have crap load of reading to do. RAWR!

Hope your week was great and hopefully I'll be back to update more often from now on..

Happy New Year!

Okay... I know I said I'd work on my school stuff over the Thanksgiving break, but I didn't even put my hands on'em till I got back to SD. I got home on Tuesday night and the moment I got home, my biological clock when kaboolunk and got totally messed up. It's so weird how my mom always tells me to lose weight and blah blah, but she still manages to feed me at night! Because of that I had to stay up late the first night.

Woke up after 3pm the next morning, I couldn't really do much for the rest of the day 'cause it was already getting dark. Wow, I felt like a bum, but it was nice to just lounge around anyways. So yea, my wednesday flew by just like that... I just sat on my ass eating junk food watching Korean videos -- the usual...and the things that make me more over a loner, HAHA

So the actual thanksgiving day turned out to be more than I expected. Dinner at Lisa's house was just awesome! Nicely cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, Korean BBQ, ¶±»ÈÀÌ, finishing it off w/ a glass of wine and apply cider.. it was like an odd combination of American food and Korean food, but it's all gravy. It's just that I ended up eating a LOT and I mean A LOT!! I came home late to find a mess in the livingroom that my bro and his friends had created throughout the afternoon..along w/ a box full of beer bottles. KA-CHING! for me..haha. So yea, I sat there and sipped on bottles of beers all by myself..hehe. Pretty cool stuff except that was just couple hundred calories right there...all late at night!

Friday, I hung out with the OG members. I went shopping with Rose before our dinner, but I ended up not getting anything. The mall was just packed with families 'cause of the after-thanksgiving sale. THe girls met up at Sandra's place to go to Macaroni Grill. It felt like home just to see everyone and catch up on things. Then we picked our secret santa before they went clubbing. Yes yes, I didn't go clubbing.. 'cause I'm the biggest party pooper of the century. Instead I sat at home (AGAIN... like always..haha) w/ Rose this time, and watched videos. Rose was in a bad mood, but hopefully she's feeling much better by now.

Saturday, I made myself get up at 11am. 11am is not even that early, but considering I had been waking up after 2pm for the past couple days..it's decent. I cleaned the house, washed the dishes, etc. I also got myself a new pair of running shoes, but when I came back from Bally's.. I found blisters forming on the sides of my feet. EW! I could've gone out with the girls again (and I WANTED TO, TOO!), but I decided I should go back to SD since I needed to catch up on lots of school work. I'm more behind that I thought I was, boohoo. So yup, I came back to SD w/ Calvin, but then again. I didn't get much done. I barely finished my history response late that night.

Sunday, the night before I made up my mind that I'd dedicate my full attention to school work on Sunday, but nooo. I was invited to one of my friends' place and ended up having a feast again. ::sigh: I need to stop doing that! So yea, I got back and exercise out of guilt...but still didn't get any work done.

So yea, that was basically my thanksgiving break. Nothing special, just relaxing and seeing the old faces. And..the good 'ol procrastination to the max...but it's time to get back to work now 'cause the finals are just around the corner..and I don't wanna be crying when I check my grade over the winter break!

So what am I gonna be doing over the Thanksgiving break? Yes, that's right. I'm gonna be doing school work. ::gasp:: I need to catch up on readings for my literature class ('cause I was too caught up w/ writing my paper I didn't read anything after the Great Gatsby), write anothe reading response for my third world studies class, and complete my communications take-home final. I really need an A on this final..so I'm gonna have to dedicate my break to this one. Well, other than that... I can relax and kick back! I think my parents might go on a trip since my bro just gave'em a grand! Holy moly, I want a grand..haha. Anyhoo, must get back to studying for tomorrow's midterm :) It's almost Friday, people, hang in there!

YAY.. it's been a relaxing weekend with lots to laugh about. First of all, I didn't have much work to do (well, I always have lots to study for, but I didn't have major assignments to do :)) so I was able to take my time and just lounge around.

[Friday]
After classes, I had dinner with Tiff. It's always nice talking to Tiff 'cause she's just awesome like that! I miss the 'ol R400 days! Then I went to AMC w/ Calvin and Brandon to watch Matrix3. I think it was an OKAY movie despite the fact that Sarah told me not to waste my money on it. It was nice to watch a movie since I haven't really..in a loooong time (shows how much of an anti-social I've been lately, UGH!). I came home to do some pilates and I don't exactly remember what I did till I went to sleep at 2:30, but probably nothing special..(dur, there's a reason why I don't remember..haha).

[Saturday]
I slept in till 12pm. Worked out at Rimac. I tried lifting weights 'cause I figured I shouldn't ONLY do cardio work-outs. But then again, I don't wanna get big without losing my flabs and fat, so we'll see how it goes. I was invited to my friend's house for dinner + sleep-over and I was planning on walking there 'cause I thought it would be a good exercise anyways. AGH, it started sprinkling though...so yea I scratched that idea and Em was nice enough to gimme a ride! Thanks, Em!!! You're the BESTEST of the BEST! We got some Golden Spoon and off to Nam-joo and Min Sun's apartment I went. It was a neat/spacious apartment...looked spacious than it really was 'cause they didn't much furniture (they're exchange students, so yea. I wouldn't waste my money buying furniture either).

Dinner was yummy in the tummy! Then we started, again, lounging around in the living room eating the best ice cream on earth, Golden spoon HEATH BAR! As we opened some cans of beers, our party commenced! :) 3 girls in their PJ's dancing around the livingroom in the dark, now THAT's something you don't see everyday. That definitely was a good workout and an adrenaline-rush. We went to sleep pretty early (1ish), but of course I couldn't fall asleep for at least an hour 'cause Nam-joo snores like no other. I swear she beats Lisa in that field. It sounded like she had a stuffy nose and it was painful just hearing her snore like a tank charging at an enemy.

[Sunday]
We got up at 9am to go to Rimac, they played racquet ball while I ran my booty off. I need to run more.. I should get used to running in the morning too. I just think it's easier to run during the afternoon or at night 'cause my muscles are already relaxed and I don't need too much warm-up time then. It felt good except I'm sorta sore from lifting weights couple days ago. -_-.. Especially the right side of my ass has been aching, AHH!

Alrighty, a whole new week is ahead of me. I should get ready and do some work now. Hope everyone had an awesome weekend 'cause I sure did ;)

- Here's a link to my blog (ver. Korean). I guess it's no use unless you know how to read Korean..hah.

Have you ever thought about how much time you waste each day? Sometimes I get so mad at myself for wasting my time away. Life time isn't really that long if you think about. First twenty something years of your life, you're in school trying to learn how to survive and blah blah blah...and then the rest...is work, marriage, and what not. I just feel like I waste too much time just THINKING about stuff, when I can actually be DOING things and accomplish something. Eh, just the random thought of the day.

So I figured that it's impossible for me to get a 4.0 this quarter (or..as always...HOW SAD!). I need some A's on my transcript, dang it! But hopefully, I'll end up with something above 3.33 at least ::crossing EVERYTHING:: So yea, I'm back to writing me lit paper.. I'm not gonna let myself do anything else till I finish this paper today.

Back in SD...

My weekend at home was AWESOME! Good food...and lots of sleep (well, I didn't MEAN to sleep that much...but it felt good anyways)!! I took my friend home..I feel bad that I didn't get to show her around so much. I think I just felt too relieved and got all sleepy.

Anyhoo, I went karaoking on Friday night and sang out heart out till I almost lost my voice. That hardly ever happens, so you know how hard I was singing. Then I decided to stop by Zenas' apartment... It was ok, I guess. I was the DD, so yea. I hope Nam-joo had fun :)

Saturday was just shopping and sleeping. I can't believe me and Nam-joo went to sleep at 8:30pm..man. that's so early...plus we didn't wake up until like 11:30 this morning.

Now it's time to start working again..and somehow I can't get into the working mode.. AHHH!!!!
